About us
Brass Bee is a small, LGBTQ-owned Virginia floral studio, run by Hunter, a designer with 8 years’ experience in the wedding and event world. Based in Alexandria, the studio works across Northern Virginia, Central Virginia, and the Shenandoah Valley, designing and installing for weddings, events, and seasonal installations.
Brass Bee is built on a simple belief: good floral design shouldn’t be reserved for the highest-budget weddings. Every arrangement is designed and installed by Hunter personally, so the person who quotes your wedding is the same person who hands you your bouquet, and whatever you’ve set aside for flowers shows up where it counts: on the day.
Every couple is welcome here. As a queer-owned studio, Brass Bee is a genuinely affirming vendor for LGBTQ couples.
